2024 Scholarship Announcement
To encourage and promote Anchorage area youth/young adults interested in furthering their level of education by providing a one-time monetary scholarship to the scholarship applicant who appropriately meets the criteria below and as selected by the designated scholarship committee.
All applicants who meet the criteria and deadline will be considered, regardless of background. The number and value of scholarships awarded each year will vary based on the number of quality applicants received and the funds available.
NOTE: Our goal is to grant two one-time scholarships annually in the amount of no less than $500. Scholarship awards are based on fund availability.
1. DEADLINE for scholarship applications is Friday, May 15, 2024, at 12 Midnight (no exceptions)
2. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
3. The final selections will be announced on June 1, 2024. The recipients will be notified by email prior to the announcement.
Scholarship funds will be awarded to the student's institution or trade school upon evidence of registration in classes. This includes the student identification number and correct address of the school office. All funds must be expended no later than September 30, 2024 or the funds will be re-allocated to another recipient.
